Distilled so far
Every blueprint, the same spine.
The same spine for every app, so two companies can actually be compared. Every claim carries a source and the date it was retrieved.
Hand it to your agent
The whole teardown as one markdown or JSON payload — architecture, endpoints, pricing mechanics, distribution. Paste it into a coding agent and start.
Take the report
Every distillation renders as a printable brief, so the work survives outside a browser tab and inside a pitch deck.
Watch it move
Products change. Every distillation is versioned, so you can see what shifted since the last time you looked — and why it matters.
Public sources, methodically.
We come from security research and reverse engineering — the discipline of understanding a system from the outside, carefully and on the record. Everything here is assembled from material a company has already published: pricing pages, documentation, app listings, marketplace entries, public discussion. Every claim carries a URL and the date it was retrieved, so you can check it rather than take our word for it.
We don't circumvent access controls, we don't republish anyone's code, and we don't break terms of service to get any of it. This is market and developer research — the work a competitor or an analyst already does by hand, done systematically and kept current.
What we publish is a description of a product's surface, its economics and its reception — not its source. Functionality isn't owned. A codebase is, and we don't have theirs.
AI has collapsed the cost of building the thing. What's left is knowing which thing to build — and that's the part we do.

“I'd spent three weeks reverse-engineering a competitor by hand. This had the pricing mechanics and the distribution map already written down, with sources.”
“The part I didn't expect was the sentiment work. Knowing which complaint is loud and which one is just loud on Hacker News changed what we built first.”
“We use it as competitive intelligence. Everything is sourced and dated, which means I can put it in front of an investment committee without rewriting it.”
“Handing the brief to an agent instead of writing a spec took about a month out of the front of the project.”
Times changed. Pick something big.
